Tax Hike Mike
With gas, groceries, energy, healthcare, and everything else getting more expensive, our families can’t afford Mike Gentile’s tax hikes.
As the mayor’s Chief of Staff, in 2024 Mike pushed for a 16.5% property tax hike in Utica. [1]
In 2025, Mike pushed for another 9.77% property tax hike. [2]
That’s 26% in tax hikes in two years for every property owner in the city — families, seniors, small business owners.
Then Mike voted to raise property taxes for the entire county. [3]
His own neighbors in Utica had enough of his tax hikes and voted Mike out of office after just one term. [4]
The next day, the mayor got rid of him. Fired from both jobs in the same week. [5]
And now Mike’s running for State Assembly.
Our families can’t afford to give Mike Gentile another chance.
